SMOG - The 2D Platforming Adventure
PRESS RELEASE:
Tuesday, December 18th in Halligan Hall, witness the thrilling new platforming adventure, Smog!
Smog is an inventive spin on platformers in which the player must rely on their wits and sense of direction to find their way out of a labyrinthian forest infested with mean spiders, confusing trees and ladders. And smog; a lot of smog. So much smog that you will find even seeing the path ahead to be a challenge.
Jump and climb your way through, over and around obstacles, deadly pits and scary enemies to help your new friend, a lost little child, out of the forest and back to his friends at camp. Don’t you like camp? Don’t you want this child to go home? Sounds like Smog is the game for you!
Testers have found the game challenging and fun, and found themselves wanting to come back for more… can you make it further than you did last time?
This game is available on PCs and also Macs because we’re nice like that. You can find a download on our website for both kinds of computers.
Our extremely successful company is comprised of five aspiring professionals from Tufts University. Muhammad Sheheryar Naveed took care of the coding with Rui Qin, while Samsam Dirie took care of the character art and animation. Nick Jacobs and Logan Herodes worked on level design and artwork, with Nick taking care of the background while Logan designed and illustrated the foreground.
